Too hard to say. Both teams looked good against opponents who look to be pretty bad this year.

Michigan should already know ND's gameplan. Blitzing early and often and throwing deep. If Michigan has a counter to those items they win. If not, they lose. Michigan should be able to run through the ND arm tackles. Man, ND tackled horrible last Saturday.

If I was forced to chose, I take the Irish -3. 31-24.

I took the points in this one. Think ND gets crushed here.

If the Irish start off looking bad on offense it could be a looooong day. I see it being a shootout. Since i'm an ND fan I take them to win by 3.

Just jumping in here to say GO BLUE! I'm with Jistic, I think (and Hope) ND gets crushed. That would propel UM to a great season

I hope it ends in a 0-0 tie.

I guess if I had to pick, I hope Notre Dame wins, but I hate both teams fairly equally, so it's not a big deal either way.

As for who will win, I have no idea. Both teams looked good against inferior opponents last week, but it's tough to say how they'll do against a decent opponent.

Re: Week 2 - #18 Notre Dame Fighting Irish @ Michigan Wolverines

I think this will be a really good tight ballgame, very hard to call this one. Michigan did move the ball well on ND last year and held them to under 300 yards but gave away the game by turning it over 6 times. So I expect them to be able to put up a decent amount of points on ND.

I am a little concerned about Michigan's secondary. Warren is very good experienced cb but after that there is some serious inexperience. There is talent there but inexperience in the secondary combined with ND's good passing attack is cause for concern and could lead to some big plays. The front 7 though for UM is pretty good, so I don't expect ND to have much success running.

If Michigan can contain ND's passing attack and get decent play from Forcier and Robinson I think they win this ballgame. Provided they don't do what they did last year against ND and turn it over six times.

But like I said should be a close ballgame, would be shocked if it wasn't.
