Who compared them to the 95 Nebraska team?

If you're talking about my post, I said that Auburn had one game that the other team had a chance to win or tie. The only team to my knowledge that had 0 games was the 95 Nebraska team. Obviously Nebraska was better, but my post was more aimed at the notion that teams like USC, Texas, and Miami won all of their games 76-3 while Auburn eaked out 10-9 wins every week.

About normal?

'08 wasn't..'04 wasn't...

You simply cannot spin that.

What made 2005 any better than 2004 other than Alabama not sucking?

Auburn was worse, Tennessee was much worse, UGA was slightly worse, LSU was about the same, Florida was slightly better, and the 3 wild cards (Arky, USC, and Ole Miss) were all about the same. The only team that improved significantly from 04 to 05 was Alabama.

In 2007, every team in the country was down. 2006 (and 2003 which you don't mention) is the only year I'm buying where teams were actually "up".

The upper half of the pack. probably 1 or 2. I know it sounds biased but that 91 team was unstoppable.

95 Nebraska would pimp slap the 91 Huskies all over the field.

And that's with me thinking that Huard-led, Entman (sp?) and Napoleon Kaufmann squad of Washington was damn good.

The Huskers are the clear choice of top team of the 90s and my choice as the greatest college football team of all time (at least in my 31 years on this planet).

'95 Nebraska is the best college team ive ever seen. They would have to be #1 imo

I was just starting out high school in '91 but I remember that Huskies squad being extremely stout. I dont know where they would rank though.

BS...Florida was better in '05. Alabama was better in '05. LSU was better in '05. South Carolina was better. UGA WON the East so I fail to see how they were worse.

'07 was a banner year for the SEC in terms of bowls. The SEC went 6-2 that year. '04....3-3.
