Re: 2010 Recruiting Thread

This thread is a perfect example of why I loathe Ohio State.

He knows that every single recruit in America (And the Virgin Islands) would give both their testicles to play for THE Ohio State University (not to be confused with Ohio State University at Cleveland [no relation])

They're being highly selective with the top 50 because if they offered them all, that'd make recruiting less fun for other schools. In fact they tell some recruits to go to other schools just so college football remains fair. Because if they had their way, they'd get 1-25 of the top 100.

Yeah... after Tressel & Co. told him that Nick Montana is Ohio State's QB for the class of 2010.

When Gardiner came to campus in January for the Junior Day the staff was still deciding who to offer, and apparently the word is that the staff wanted a more polished passer... Gardiner will be a great QB if he's given time to develop.

Well that should put UM comfortably in the drivers seat for Devin's services.

Great fit for the offense and his potential is through the roof. Now if we can get one of QB's from Florida we'll be all set. Don't think Bolden will come if Gardner is there.

Everytime UM sign a QB one transfers. So who will it be next?

Who besides Steve Threet & Mallett are you talking about because I dont understand this? Both were square pegs in a round hole and Threet saw the writing on the wall that he would be splitting time and more then likely by the end of the year not starting and Mallett was the same thing but didnt have as the same head on his shoulders as Threet.

That's just idiotic. UM would have been atleast a bowl team if RR would have just ran a traditional spread with Mallet, easing in his offense, instead of trying to force an offense in which he did not have the personnel.

He wasn't getting enough love from the staff being #2 on their big board. It's amazing how far its come now where a recruit turns his back on a team when he doesn't have an offer in February.

It'll be interesting to see if he eventually gets an offer and what his reaction will be. If Montana commits, then well never get to see.

As a buckeye fan, I would have rather liked to see Gardner in scarlet and gray, but I'm just a fan, so I have to trust the staff's decisions.

*sigh*

I've already had this argument like a dozen times...

You are incorrect.
