That makes absolutely zero sense.

If Utah can't be voted a share of the NC this season then no team outside the BCS conferences will likely ever win one.

At this point I hope the Utah Attorney General follows through with his anti-trust suit because this is getting ridiculous.

What the NCAA is allowing the BCS conferences to do is say to all the other conferences: "You can play your schedules, but your season doesn't really count for anything."

Sure, they may get tossed a bone in the form of money from a BCS game once every few years, but beyond that they can't ever lay claim to a NC.

We'll never know if there's an '85 Villanova or '83 N.C. State just waiting to get their chance.

I'm slowly losing interest with college football and that's a sad thing.

It makes perfect sense when you consider the people who sign their paychecks just paid a zillion dollars for the rights to the bcs.

Re: AP Poll?

Not much of a surprise, but it still sucks. At least Utah is #2 with 16 first place votes. That's higher than I was expecting.

EDIT: Can a mod change the title of the thread so people know the poll has been posted? Thanks.

How the heck does Ohio State move up a spot after a loss?

Re: AP Poll?

Haha, guess it was more than just a 'moral' victory.
