Yes, you do have to go to the lacrosse game. First come, first serve means if you want good seats you have to get there early. I'm not going down there to watch a Spring Game from the nosebleeds cuz of a lacross game OPENING THE GATES EARLIER THAN USUAL.

Money going to charity and/or the lacrosse team?

I already give charity to Ohio State. It's called paying my taxes. It's MY cup that protects Hartline's balls every Saturday.

Again, it's one thing to charge and then it's another to add in all this other stuff. I'm just tired of being taken advantage of...that's all.
Just checked the Big Ten Network's website.

Saturday April 19th: 11:00 PM:
Big Ten Spring Football '08: Ohio State (HD)
runs until 1:00 am

Didn't really mean to piss you off man...

EDIT:

I just found it too davin. Thanks.

Look, I am a bit pissed off about it. It isn't you. It's the situation. Like I said, why should I be happy that a game that was on live/free tv now being on tape delay on a station hardly anyone gets?

Got another total...

Kansas: 7,500

Kinda raises the old eyebrows considering the season they had last year.

Or they're rational people who know that spring games are boring to watch.

What does a spring game have to do with college football?

Spring games are non-competitive, vanilla jokes, and in terms of assessing a team's strengths and weaknesses, are the worst exhibition of the year. You're better off going to a scrimmage than the spring game if you want to see how your team is doing. I've been to three different spring games at three different schools. Two were to see local players that I knew play, and the third doubled as my campus tour. All three were wastes of time.

Spring games were in their rightful place as irrelevant until Alabama filled up their stadium last year. I've got no problem with people wanting to go see them, but to criticize a fan base for not wanting to is silly, especially during March Madness.

Re: Spring Game attendance...

Uhhhh.... The UF game was last Saturday. Besides that, I watch and follow all of UF's on goings. Whether it be Spring practice or an open practice or opening day. If you don't enjoy the Spring games that's ok but, don't down the people that do.

Actually a lot comes out of these games, i.e. Cam Newton should be greatful that Brantley was injured and couldn't play in the game. If so Cam might be looking at 3rd string.

Though these are all fine points I think he meant Kansas cuz I brought them up. Then again, the Jayhawks had their Spring Game last night...a full week after the title game hence outside the realm of March Madness.

I wouldn't harp on it though. Trolls only have message board drama to live for cuz they're failures in real life and need to get high/laid. Simply linking him a calendar would probably cause him to jump off a cliff.

And to criticize a fan base who has enough love, and passion for their football program to pack the house on a beautiful Spring day when they could be on the lake, golf course, etc. is just as silly.
