"Seven is Heaven!" 2008 Auburn Tigers Football

Well...Spring Practice started today to officially signal the beginning of the 2008 Auburn Tiger Football Season.

On top of the football teams having their first spring practice, Auburn hosted Alabama in Basketball Sunday as well.
Thought some folks would like to see this. The Auburn BBall team defeated Bammer for the 3rd time in 4 games Sunday, but on top of that, the annual presentation of the Foy ODK Trophy..which goes to the winner of the Iron Bowl each year, was held at halftime of the BBall game.

Another fun addition to the trophy is the fact that the losing school's SGA president has to stand up in front of the winning team's home crowd and sing the Rival fight song.

Here is Bammer's SGA president singing the Auburn fight song for the SIXTH straight time.

What better way to start the 2008 Season!! I also like Tubs's comments at the mic.

Morgantown.

Should be a helluva game. But both teams have a lot of other big games before that.

Auburn has LSU and Tennessee to deal with..both in Auburn...in September to begin with.

AND...AU opens with "Bammer killer" Louisiana Monroe so we can't overlook them.

Before Auburn even comes to town, WVU will have their hands full on September 18 when they travel to Boulder to face the Buffalos. Colorado was much improved last season and they have some very nice recruits coming in. Should be a huge test for the Mountaineers after opening up with Villanova and East Carolina.
