Re: Rivals Top 100 players To Watch in 09

FSU looks really good for DT Jacobbi McDaniel right now. Apparently he didn't take a visit to Florida and told the UF reporter that he wouldn't camp at a school he wouldn't sign with. FSU has a pipeline to Madison County and he should be the next in the line along with teammate Chris Thompson.

David Oku has been high on Auburn's list since his Freshman season of High School.

I believe Eddie Gran, our RBs coach, gave him a verbal standing offer on the first day you could legally give it during his sophomore season.

He wants to get out of Oklahoma from his quotes and AU is high on his list because of the backs "we put in the league".

Nice to see William Campbell get that 5th star like he deserves and I don't think this will be the last jump he makes in the top 100 either. Hopefully Rich Rod can hold onto the kid as Campbell committed to LC and not RRod.

Looks like Bama will get a 4 star QB in its '09 class as well.

I bet Auburn gets him. He is a bit undersized but I'm sure he will put more weight on when he goes to college. He put up good stats at Carl Albert but I'm not sure if he is a 4 star recruit.

With the RB's at the colleges in state I don't see Oku staying in Oklahoma. I wish Oklahoma kids would stay in state. Losing quality players to SEC schools, such as Robert Meachem, sucks.

I remember reading that he stated he wanted to leave the state. The same article also said he grew up a Florida State fan, so maybe the Noles can bring him in.
