Yup, Tim's son. Actually, Tim coaches Edison up in Fresno. I was wondering where he went off to. Tim went back home lol.

Glad to see that Sheppard unlike Pryor has his head on clearly and sees that if he comes to Michigan he is pretty much guaranteed the starting job in an offense that going to be the most beneficial to him.

Now watch him commit to Florida so he can be 3rd or 4th on their depth chart.

FSU picks up commitment #2 from 4* WR Willie Downs. He is presently ranked as the #1 WR in Florida for this class and helps ease the sting of not getting Julio Jones.

Have you watched his video yet? I am very excited about this pickup. Willie has great hands on top of being very quick and elusive in the open field after the catch. I also love the fact that he can play a multitude of positions, corner, wide reciever, safety, and even punter. I wouldn't be suprised to see him end up a 5* coming signing day 09'.

Yeah Tallahassee this year is to talent what Dade County was last year. The junior class in Tally is just sick and most of these kids are like McDaniel and Downs and have wanted to be Seminoles their entire lives.

How possible is that? Did you see that All-Dade team I posted like a month ago in the '08 thread? First team to third? This past year may have been the most talented out of Dade in decades.

Sorry, just not going with you on this one

Nation's No. 2 junior RB grew up a Seminole fan

Sure FSU usually whiffed on these kids when Jeff Bowden was at the helm, but Jimbo Fisher is 1,000,000x the recruiter Jeffy ever was. If all goes well FSU could possibly bring in Chris Thompson, David Oku, Lonnie Pryor, and British Footman for RBs in this class.

Re: 2009 Recruiting Thread

Look at the talent in Leon and Madison County this upcoming year. It could very well end up being on par with Dade County last year, there is as much talent out there as there has ever been. Off the top of my head there could be 3-4 5* players from the county. FSU is in a great position right now much like Miami was last year, there are a lot of highly talented kids coming out who grew up Noles.

No doubt Tallahassee is loaded with major talent.

Maybe the past recruiting season and the one coming up for the Noles is a sign of coming back for both programs. We shall see.

I wanna be great again!!!

P.S. Sounds like Miami is the first to offer QB Tommy Savage from Cardinal O'Hara, the same school Kevin Jones went to.

Nice. The Philadelphia Catholic League is pounding out major D1 talent every year. From my alma mater, West Catholic...and Roman had Nick Moody to FSU. The PCL is hot right now.
