3 star DB Abdul Smith verbals to Rutgers.

State picked up its 7th 4* commitment. Hopefully they add a few more. It would be an amazing recruiting class for state if they could reach double digit 4* recruits.

It's been relatively quiet on the Michigan front lately.

Some tidbits:

-Dennis Thames is in Michigan visiting his uncle. Michigan's up there, but it's hard to get guys out of Mississippi.

-Zach Martin is making another unofficial visit to Michigan this weekend and then deciding in a couple weeks. Feeling is the visit could clinch the commitment for UM.

-Brennan Williams is also considered a Michigan lean at this point. He has a lot of family in the area, and his dad is a big UM guy.

-David Oku has set his officials. He's visiting Michigan during MSU week.

-Shaq Evans is going to wait to make all his official visits before committing somewhere. He rescheduled his Notre Dame visit from the Michigan game to the Purdue game. He still plans on visiting Michigan too, and is in constant contact with Tony Dews.

Brandon McGee is close to a decision and it sounds like Miami fans should get excited.

UT got a commitment today from Rivals Top 250 DB DJ Hunter out of Ohio. We already have 12 commits which is strange because we never have this many this early on. Looking great so far though

Sorry really wasn't directing that at you. Just some of the others that visit this thread who tried to discredit Alabama's great recruiting class.
