Re: 2009 Recruiting Thread

5 star DB Dre Kirkpatrick was at Bama's practice today with Jerell Harris. I think Kirkpatrick will be wearing Crimson in 2009

Seems like he's pretty high on Michigan but I don't think he leaves the state of Alabama.

Damn.......I sure hope Bowden isn't paying his recruits like that because if he is, he sure as hell isn't getting his money's worth. That team underachieves every season, no matter what kind of players they recruit. Maybe this year will be different for them.

Well supposedly this is the story about what happened. Ken Page was visiting relatives in California, his uncle owns some ATMs and needed to refill them, so while out they stopped to do so. Page had never seen that much cash before, so he asked to hold it and the picture was taken. This is from the main board on Rivals.

Let's say it's true, this is still the last thing you want to see on a recruit or players Myspace/Facebook page. I for one don't believe this, as Clemson is well known for its aggressive and generous boosters.

His uncle owns some ATMs?

Does he own a bank or something? I'm lost.

Re: 2009 Recruiting Thread

You don't risk everything by dishing out that kind of dough for some 4-star OL. 5-star QB, sure. Not even Clemson is stupid enough to give out that much money to someone like Kenneth Page.

And at least he wasn't chewing on the money like stupid *** former Iowa WR Dominique Douglas was.
