Re: 2009 Recruiting Thread

Moss is a bigtime player, happy to see he picked Carolina. The Heels are really off to a quick start this year in recruiting, especially in state.

Re: 2009 Recruiting Thread

Didn't see this discussed yet, but Scout's #1 WR in the Class of 2009, Logan Heastie, committed to WVU over the weekend. WVU also picked up *** QB Tajh Boyd from Virginia who had 9 offers from schools like Michigan, BC, and Va Tech.

Looks like Stewart and Doc Holliday are already making a statement. Picking up Holliday was an absolute coup for WVU. Like I said all along, Stewart needed a stud recruiter like Holliday because of his lack of recruiting experience.

Doc Holliday is a great recruiter, I was happy when he left NC State.

Chris Beatty seemed to have been huge for these two Virginia signings though. I think it was a very wise move by Stewart to hire him and establish a solid presence in the Virginia Beach area.

I think we'll see Doc's presence more directly with players from Florida and other southern states since that's where his expertise lies. Still, I'd be shocked if he didn't play a role in bringing those two to Morgantown.

Warchant.com - Top prospects commit to U.S. Army AA Bowl

Good decisions for these kids if they care about the their star total, just as E.J. Manuel.

Former Mississippi State commit QB Chris Garrett decommitted from MSU and committed to LSU where he'll compete for a job with 5* QB/ATH Russell Shephard. Wow, talk about a stupid decision.

Re: 2009 Recruiting Thread

I am not going to accuse Clemson of cheating, but damn this is probably the last thing you want a recruit to post on his Facebook/Myspace page. This is recent commitment Kenneth Page.
