They were pretty awful, but the last six years they have been perennial conference contenders with a winning record.

He was hurt in the fall and had trouble grasping the whole playbook. That and his arm was probably worse than Sheridan's. He was never a viable option at QB, and will be a slot WR in the future.

He couldn't get playing time over a walk on and a 6-6 pocket passer. So obviously he wasn't that great of a QB. He will be in the slot next season.

I just don't understand why you put WINS GAMES in capital letters, like Michigan goes 3-9 year in and year out.

Because if Tulsa has a good quarterback and keeps Malzahn they're all but guaranteed at least 8-9 wins a year. Michigan is sort of going through turbulent times right now from what I gather.

Playing at Tulsa is never a preferable option than playing at Michigan, and I mean never. I don't care if Michigan goes 3-9 the next 3 years and Tulsa goes 9-3 each year, you will get more exposure at Michigan, you will be better prepared for the NFL at Michigan, and instead of being that good CUSA player on a team that's on National TV once a year, you will be well known across America at the end of the day. For a kid to turn Michigan for Tulsa, with an OC with some fishy recruiting in his background, you won't convince me something nefarious isn't going on behind the scenes.

That's just not true. If Michigan went 3-9 3 years in a row, they would not be getting national exposure. FSU, Miami, Penn St in the early 2000s, and USC in the pre-Carroll days were all better than 3-9 and none of them get/got real national exposure.

On top of that, if the team goes 9-27, they clearly aren't getting prepared for the NFL.

1. What in the world is your proof that there's been any fishy recruiting? 3 players grow up in Arkansas, are all very high on Arkansas (the best one commits to Arkansas), and then their head coach becomes the OC at Arkansas and they commit, then 2 transfer to USC after he is fired. There's nothing fishy about that.

2. Michigan has another higher rated QB committed. That probably factors more than the illegal benefits that Tulsa is offering that Michigan is not.

3. Players choose to play at Samford, Georgia Southern, and Alabama A&M over Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida every year, and the same thing with every other D1A school. If a player is willing to go from a national power to 1AA in order to play, it's not too inconceivable that a player would choose to go to a good mid major over question mark BCS program.

It didn't, though.

I'm sure it mattered at least a little. If he was the only QB and was promised the starting job at Michigan, I doubt he decommits.
