I am still not putting much stock into what Brown says. I think he enjoys the visits. In my mind he is solid to The U.

Re: 2009 Recruiting Thread

Anything can happen in recruiting. I read something this morning that a long time poster (a professor at Miami) over at Grassy (Canestime) was told by Arthur Brown that Bryce is 100% to the Canes. We shall see.

I hope you're right. We definitely can use him next season. Brown will start but I expect the 2nd string guy, which I'm assuming would be Smith since he's enrolling in January and will have plenty of time to pick up the offense, should see plenty of action. I don't know much about Coley White's future as a QB in Morgantown, but he really had a lot of trouble with the offense last year. I've heard rumors that he could be moved to WR if Smith does come in, but of course that's just heresay. We also have Bradley Starks returning but I think he'll probably have the same role next season as he did this year, that being a WR and 3rd string QB.

Looks like former FSU LT Daron Rose (Rivals 100, 4*) will be resuming his college career at South Florida instead of going back to FSU. After he flunked out of FSU the team wished him well in his future endeavors and went another direction with Andrew Datko.

Kiffin got his first recruit today, 4* Eric Gordon out of Nashville. At one time was a Bama lean, had offers from Bama, Oklahoma, Texas Tech and S. Carolina

Re: 2009 Recruiting Thread

This is gonna sound Crazy, But Syracuse just landed a All American JUCO QB. From what i have seen this kid seems very good, Chances are he will easily take the starting spot from Cameron Dantley next Season.

You still lack an Offensive Line, Wide Receivers, and ohh the most important thing...A COACH

Wow, a little defensive are we?

Actually when Mike Williams Re-Enrolls in January, he will Automatically become the Best WR in the BE, he is that good. At Some point this week either Turner Gill, Doug Marrone, or most likely Skip Holtz will be coach. And the Offensive line actually did alot better this year.

Who Ever the new coach is next year, He will have some talent to work with.

I think they are messing up again if they don't hire Turner Gil. I can't get over what he's done with Buffalo........yes that's Buffalo. Holtz might do a decent job but I still think Gil is the guy they need to hire. Congrats on the Juco QB, but who in the world commits to a team with no coach? That's crazy. LOL
