Because I don't think NBA franchises are fooled by him anymore. Cal's greatest asset is irrelevant in the NBA.

The Cavs and Bulls were never going to offer Cal a job (at least Ferry wasn't, maybe if Gilbert fired him and hired Cal on his own).

For those that care, I knew this weeks ago. And said as much.

The other thing I know is that Cal is interested in getting back to the NBA. But it won't happen until he either A) wins a title or B) an NBA owner is willing to give him some serious cash as well as GM control.

It is possible that he could win a title or an owner gets stupid and he ends up staying at UK. But I think he wants to prove himself in the one area he hasn't succeeded at yet.
