I sure as hell hope this does not happen. It needs to just stay right where it is at on CBS.

Not so fast. When ESPN had the rights before...I believe the 1st and 2nd rounds. It was terrific coverage. In fact, once CBS got the rights to the entire tourney, it took years, years before they came close to ESPN's coverage.

ESPN had a great feel for where the action was. What game to switch you to/from.

I still think CBS is trying to get that figured out, although they are much better now than several years ago.

ESPN could cover it great. C-basketball is their forte. That's what they cut their teeth on.

The people they employ though are annoying enough during the year. Especially Vitale. His schtick had gotten old 7-10 seasons ago. If they used Gottlieb more, I'd like it better. He's the most honest, original commentator they got. And they keep him in the minors. Its time to sit those old foggies like Vitale, Knight & Phelps down.

Love the guy.

I don't want to see the tournament move to ESPN off of local cable. Ratings will drop, guarantee that happening.

Taking the Madness off a major network? Unless they're planning on putting it on ABC I don't see this happening.

Bilas already does the tournament for CBS.

If this happens, ESPN better find a way to get Gus Johnson to do games.

I hope not. I think it is important event that should not be televised on cable but network TV.
