Anyone watch JUCO Basketball

Down here in the Panhandle of Florida we have some serious Juco talent every year. NWSF and Chipola are two teams that come to mind when I talk about Juco powerhouses down here. Chipola is one of the top jucos in the Nation every year. And my college NWSF (who is no slouch) has some epic battles with Chipola every year, it's a hell of a rivalry and alot of fun. We do it real big down here for jucos.

I have a couple friends playing JUCO this year, the competition is actually much better than I thought. Some of those guys are really talented, but have issues when it comes to grades.

Yea these guys are pretty good, It surprised me at first. Chipola has churned out these guys: Stefon Hannah, Jamarcus Ellis, Mari Boggan, Deandre Thomas, and Nba talent Chris Porter. That's pretty impressive, these guys are pretty damn good, and some of of them are just there because of their grades (like you said)

East Texas. Another power JUCO conference. San Jacinto, Lon Morris, Paris, etc. are all usually contenders.

Don't let anybody fool you, there is some serious talent in JUCO basketball. It's mostly D-1 prospects that aren't academically qualified as freshmen.

Panola's conference has churned out Steve Francis, Marcus Thornton and more NBA talent. Birdman played in this conference but he didn't get many minutes.

I don't watch JUCO, but I do watch NAIA and Division II basketball here in the Louisville/Southern Indiana area. Most notably because there are players from local high schools on these squads.

I just noticed your from Clarksville. I've been there plenty of times, I went to the Green tree Mall quite a few times. I lived in Madison, In at one point, and watched Hanover college play a few times, I'm sure your aware of those Indiana towns.

Yea I have seen first hand how good some of these jucos are. Northwest State Florida college, Chipola, Tallahasse, and Pensacola are a few jucos that stand out in my area.
