I gotta say the winner this year will be Michigan State or Purdue. I'm hoping Purdue becasue they return 4 starters from last years very good team.

Can't wait to see Evan Turner this year...but I have no idea how the team will do. I think they'll probably finish the season ranked and get a decent seeding in the Tourney but the B-10 is so packed and Matta is just not as good as I once thought.

We return all five...

F: JaJuan Johnson
F: Robbie Hummel
G: E'Twaun Moore
G: Chris Kramer
G: Lewis Jackson

And plus hopefully there will be a lot more depth in big men this year with Sandi Marcius, Kelsey Barlow, and Patrick Bade on campus now. Lastly, Keaton Grant is coming off a healthy off-season and might get back to his 2007-2008 form where he was a threat to drop 20 every night.

He will change your mind next year, he is bringing in the best class in the country next year.

We'll see. I know about next year's class, but I just don't trust Matta to coach them up. Seems to me that he has always relied on just out recruiting everyone then hoping that his team is just more talented than the other.

You crack me up, are you ever satisfied? Tressel can't coach, Matta can't coach, Tressel can't develop players, now Matta can't?

You realize he has won at least 20 games every year he's been the head coach. Including 2004-2005 with that crap O'Brien left him with, the team from 2005-2006 wasn't exactly loaded either. Last year they went to the NCAA without a true point. Or are you going to take the same logic you do with Tressel and tell me that Evan Turner was a NBA Lotto pick when he came out of high school?
