Awhile ago, I remember reading that the FN dev team was going to alternate between FN and EA MMA each year. I wouldn't be surprised if the dev team shifts its focus to FN after the UFC game is released.

At that time, the two games were being developed by two different teams though (FN - EAC and MMA - Tiberon, Orlando).

FN sequel was due out in early 2013, but I think that's off the shelf now.

This! EA MMA team is working on NBA LIVE 13. So, the whole every other year isn't going to happen. The Fight Night team is dedicated to the UFC game success.
