Khan is also considering replacing Freddie Roach.
I think this is a good idea. Roach doesn't seem to focus enough on defense with his fighters. Manny, has shown that he can take a punch so he will get hit to hit his opponent even if he gets rocked. Khan has shown that he can't really box that way. Khan has the offensive skill, he needs a trainer that will teach him how to avoid the big shots. Floyd Sr gave Ricky Hatton the blue print to beating Pacquio for example but Ricky refused to listen or couldn't execute the game plan.

Khan is a young offensive minded fighter, who hasn't really put it all together as of yet. Hopefully, he gets another shot, because he had not ducked a single fighter IMO, and if anything that alone warrants him another shot, not to mention, the way he picked himself up and continued to battle back. Unlike Victor Ortiz, who would have probably have up aster the first KD.
Untrue. The reality is Floyd took out some stiff comp and well good fighters early in his career. Hernandez and Manfredy comes to mind. The kid has been good a long time, many didn't start following him until he hit 140.

I doubt Roach told him to go bang and slug in this fight. For the first two rounds, khan was winning. He was faster, in and out. As he took more risk, he started to get hit. He never settled down and figured out what was happening.

He was taking some shots in those first two rounds despite winning them. He was "risk taking" from the opening bell.

All in all a damn good fight.
