It's not dead but the Community date hasn't even been set yet.
Facebreaker was just released and early dates have FNRd4 dropping in early March.
If I were to estimate I would say that the event won't take place until after the new year. It might come earlier if they wanted to piggy-back on the DLH-Pacman fight in December. But who knows?
Chances are we'll start to get more info on the game 4 weeks or so after FaceBreakers release.

That is my take as well. EA has had a lot of releases lately (Tiger Woods, Madden, Facebreaker etc). So they will let those work themselves into the market for now.

I have a feeling we'll know when the Community event is before October is out.
I really think EA will want to jump on the DLH-Pacman fight in early December.
It could be scheduled around this fight.

I know I'm not around OS much, but I've been at MM for a long time under a different username. Anyway I'd be interested in this if a spot is still open. I love boxing, have journalism, and this type of community experience with a different company though.
