Re: Fight Night Round 4 Producer Interview Questions

1) Will the fights be longer and go to the cards more often?

2) Will the scores be said aloud before the decision is said to build suspense?

3) Will fatigue be more of a issue in the later rounds in general than round 3 and even moreso for a person with heavy body damage?

4) Has parrying been removed as requested or at the very least secluded to an arcade mode?

5) Will an accumulation of punches be able to break down a tired/weaker boxers guard

6) Have haymakers been removed as requested or at the very least secluded to an arcade mode?

Re: Fight Night Round 4 Producer Interview Questions

Will injuries be utilizedi n career mode?

How many total boxers will be available in the game (created and non-created)?

What are the new training modes?

Are there plans to have more trainers with varying areas of expertise?

Will the title changes hands among AI controlled fighters?

Re: Fight Night Round 4 Producer Interview Questions

1) Will there be an open career mode with rankings?
2) How many boxers in each division's ranks? Will AI boxers move up and down the rankings?
3) Accelerated Clock or 2 minute round option in career mode? (We don't play Madden with 15 minute quarters so why should we have to box for 3 full minutes per round, it throws stats out of whack).
4) Will there be stoppages based on cuts, injuries, etc.
5) In career mode can we have the option to control more than 1 fighter? This would make it a blast for you and multiple friends to try to rise up through the rankings and fight eachother along the way.
6) How many training excercises will there be?
7) Can we pick how many weeks until the next fight and will that effect our preparation/training?
8) Will there be multiple belts per weight class?
9) Can you move up and down weight classes in career mode?
10) Will there be a decent amount of decisions going to the cards?
11) Will there be a large pool of different types of judges? For example 1 would look at volume of punches, 1 would look at power punches landed, 1 might like aggressive, 1 might like counter punching. You never know what 3 judges you'll get to score the fight. It would make thinks real interesting.
12) Will there be different types of cutmen and trainers and different gyms to train in? In Knockout Kings you chose your gym and it specialized in a certain attribute. I would like this expanded upon.
13) Can we customize Pay per View type events in career mode and exhibition. It would be awesome to schedule an entire event.
14) Will stats deteriorate as you age in career mode?
15) How many attributes will a boxer have. Strength, spped, agility, heart, chin, etc.
16) Any chance each hand or punch will have its own power or speed rating?
17) How many different styles will there be? Boxer, Slugger, European, Crab, etc.
18) Will injuries that occur inside the ring carry onto the next fight? If you take an incredible beating, will it have any lasting effects?
19) Will you be able to view the stats of other fighters in the career mode rankings and scout your opponent. Win, Loss, KO, Last 5, Most effective punch, style, previous or current held titles, etc.
20) Have you ever had the chance to view Victorious Boxers 2: Boxers Road career mode? Its an import for the PS2 and if you could replicate that career mode with Fight Nights in ring boxing, you would have an A+ 10/10 game on your hands.

Thanks for taking these questions.

Re: Fight Night Round 4 Producer Interview Questions

1)will the jab be effective an necessary (setting up combinations etc.) ?
2)if someone sways backwards will it be A) limited in the time you can do it or B) dangerous as the oppenent can now adjust and hammer your face?
3)punch out of clinches?
4) comment: in boxing a lot of the time someone is 'in trouble' when hit with a good on or even knocked down/out - but mostly they try to land effective punches that don't always accumulate to take away their 'life bar' whether it's visible or not. That's why good, clean shots should be more rare for both fighters especially since not many boxers throw evey punch as hard as you can and don't land the majority flush.

Re: Fight Night Round 4 Producer Interview Questions

Will punching power affect accuracy??

I believe accuracy should be a new rating in Fight NIght 4. You could be the strongest fastest guy in the world but if you can't land a punch you can't win. This should be reflected in game.
The same way quarterbacks need accuracy to hit their receivers, boxers need accuracy to land. i THINK this will be the best way to show your boxer improving through your career. His power & speed should remain relatively consistent throughout your career since its usually god given. but your accuracy and confidence makes your boxer more dangerous.

Re: Fight Night Round 4 Producer Interview Questions

I just have two things.

1. How are you looking to improve the career mode?

2. Will the all-time greats/past boxers still be included in career mode? (Hopefully not.)

1)This is more like a request than it is a question. Tis is somthing I find rather simple do but nessessery. For those who'd like to see a Victorious Boxers 2: Fighter's Road career blended seamlessly into FN4 career mode, here are a few of my ideas:

2)There are litterally tons of mangement aspects to do VB2:FR, and that's before you are even schedule a first match. Like picking your gym you plan what gym and country you fight out of. You'll go to scheduling meals you put together to eat shown visaully in the game, and maybe there could be even suppuments you can take also. It would have about 8-10 traing excercises (with maybe 2 more unlockables to each gym) that does plenty for your stats/technigue. all this talking about schedule and didn't bring up making weight. if your fighter's is not a "disapplend" fighter (which there should be a new stat, BTW) he's gonna gain mad wait bettween fights. You have to a fighter that eat's right, work hard or his caeer will be over. Oh, and your whole list and plans are wriiten on a calader.

let's get on to the second part of my request, and what EA did with the FNR4 career. First off, there is only one training session you can pick out of 4-5 mini-games, lasting 8-10 mins a piece, then go fight. Which could be fun to some peeps out there. I guess. But that's what you got Facebreaker for now, right?

Well, my idea is to merge the two carrer styles together. it's yery simple. You start off your carrer, you've picked your gym and trainer. This is where you start with your nutrition for the first week, picking and tuning your excericises and food to your liking. Then schedule an open training event to break up the manotony. So you should get to train every 4 weeks and on your calender. You pick the date to hold your open practice and you can choose form 8-10 mini-games. You train while a croud cheers you on. The larger you get in the fight game the more fans whould turn out ta watch you train (they might even chant your name and wave flags if you get that far and become lagendary statues). This clould boost your adrenaline stat and also get you in with the fans and boost some kind of 'fan appreciation' stat. Or just choose to skip that part of the whole training and just sim and go to the fights.

3)Will there be a TV broadcast style presentation i.e. proper sound FX, camera(s) and comentary. The makers Fight Night Round 3 didn't even try this style presentation. They always said they wanted to put you in the ring, while not every player wanted to be in the ring for each and every fight. This aspsect of presentation is somthing I really want to see in Round 4. I really think this is something (EA) could benifit from, because a broadcast style -- cameras and everything that goes along with it (maybe even a PPV type deal) -- could really bring back memories of a young Mike Tyson and other great fighters.

Do you like or dislike my ideas?

Re: Fight Night Round 4 Producer Interview Questions

Will EA capture the atmosphere of boxing?.....WIll big fights feel like big fights before and during the fight?

WIll the fights have different outcomes instead of Knockouts every single fight?
