have to vote for the show, only because i wasn't alive during nhl 94, and i wouldn't have played it anyway

This is a really tough one. I'll give the slight edge to NHL.

i cant believe this vote is even close.. i thought NHL 94 would be running away with this.

I bought my PS3 at the advice of a friend for MLB the Show '08. I dont think I took the disc out of the PS3 for 6 months. My buddy and I played NHL 93 extensively and skipped '94. Looks like we missed a good one. Still gotta vote for The Show.

I'm not even a hockey game, but I remember buying NHL 94 for SNES because it was like $13 at KB Toys when they were still around(I'm dating myself here). I STILL play the game to this day and it's just as intense now.

I couldn't agree more! I was an active duty Marine when '94 came out and we had guys who never even seen ice, let alone hockey, addicted to this game.

NHL 93 was by far, my favourite one of the series, in particularly the fighting. NHL 94, I believe was the one where there was no fighting but it definitely upped hockey for video games!!
