2011-12 Season In-Review
The Bobcats finished the 2011-12 season with a disappointing, yet not surprising, 22-60 record, finishing as the worst team in the NBA. As a team in rebuilding mode, they were for the most part uncompetitive. While they aren't guaranteed to have the #1 overall pick, they definitely are in the drivers seat for said pick. With young players like Kemba Walker and Bismack Biyombo, the team can only go up from here, but the question heading into the 2012-13 campaign is will they be able to at least show some sort of competitive spirit.

After Big Off-Season, Bobcats Look For Huge Turnaround

They finished with the worst record in the league just a season ago, but this off-season, the Charlotte Bobcats made it clear that they plan on contending right away.

Having drafted Michael-Kidd Gilchrist, signed center Tim Duncan and guard Eric Gordon, and traded for guard Jeff Teague, the Bobcats are expected to be improved. The question is, with the departure of leading scorer DJ Augustin and veteran forward Corey Maggette, how much better will they truly be?

Forward-center Bismack Biyombo is the teams only returning starter, while forwards DJ White, Reggie Williams, and guards Gerald Henderson, and Kemba Walker round out the 5 returning players for the Bobcats.

Other key additions through free agency were guard Allen Iverson, who hasn't played in two seasons and has not performed well in longer than that, and center Ben Wallace, who also isn't in the form he once was but is expected to contribute nontheless.

As for the other draft picks, rookie forward Perry Jones III is expected to be a role player in his first year in the NBA. Rookie guard Will Buford and veteran forward round out the immediate roster. Rookie center Bernard James and rookie guard Jason Clark have been sent down to the D-League.

The Bobcats open the season against the Minnesota Timberwolves on November 2nd.

Looking good love the offseason moves def looks like a better and stronger team the lineup looks good got me motivated to start a new one...what sliders and draft class do u use if any on sliders I downloaded three diff rookie classes and they all ended up as the same rosters.

Alright so I played the first game of the season, and saved it, but before I was able to post stats and whatnot, the power in my area went out. I'm at a friends house currently, but I won't have the first game stats up till tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest. Stay tuned folks.
