It was January of 1968 that Milwaukee was awarded a NBA Franchise. Since then, the Bucks have won 1 Championship, 2 Conference Titles, and 13 Division Titles. But have yet to acheive a winning season since the 2002-2003 campaign in which they went 42-40. But this year is a new year for the Bucks, with veteran captain Michael Redd, improvement of Andrew Bogut, and the 1st round selection of the promising point gaurd Brandon Jennings ae the keys to Milwaukees sucess this year.

Philly improves to 2-0, and Milwaukee drops to 0-1. But on a positive note the Bucks will be at home in thier own backyard to host the Detroit Pistons.

The Detroit Pistons traveled to milwaukee to battle the Bucks. The Bucks who fell shorth of a victory their last game was hungry for the first win of the season. Led by rookie sensation Nrandon Jennings who was absolutely on fire leading the game with a season and career high 35 points. Michael Redd helped out with 29 points of his own. The high scorer for the Pistons was Rip Hamilton, who seemed to be automatic however his performance was not enought to lift his team to victory. Milwaukee wins 123-106.
