I do realize that the PC version is superior, but does anyone know if there are any 2008 rosters for the PS2 version?

I don't mind doing a retro franchise, but it would be nice to have the current rosters if they are available. [Reply]

I believe one can convert a PC roster into a PS2 file using the editor. [Reply]

Just got through playing a few innings, and I have to say, one thing I love about this games is the CPU will make you pay if you get careless on the mound. I'm used to being able to breeze through innings without giving much thought in most other baseball games, but you cant do that in HH on the higher levels. A couple more practice games and i'll be ready to start a season. [Reply]

that's a really good point and in fact, some high levels the cpu seems to almost "cheat" a bit in that it seems to pull big innings out of just one bad pitch. I really dont mind at all since that does happen in real baseball often [Reply]

Hey, guys,
I was going to start my season on April 4th. Reading all your posts, I may not make it. Maybe this Friday night. Still working on my rosters and ordering a sharkport for using the editor. I haven't found one at a Gamestop or EB. Do they still sell these things anywhere or just online?

BSB - I enter it right before the next inning, but you can probably do it anytime before the end of the game. [Reply]

So what is everyones favorite hitting, fielding, and pitching views? I like the default settings for both right now but the "Side" view for hitting, and the "High" view for fielding isnt all that bad.

Edit....I like to pitch from the pitchers view. [Reply]

I think I use the low-zoomed camera for hitting. I can tell balls and strikes better that way. [Reply]

Square(2), Circle(2)L1,R1,You should hear a sound. Then L1+L2+R1+R2. You'll get a screen with game parameter options. This is where you edit the score.
Oh, another fun thing I'm doing with rosters. When there is a hole, I fill it in with a player from the 70's or 80's when I was growing up. Like Joaquin Andujar on St. Louis, or Cecilio Guante on the Bucs. No big stars or Hall of Famers. Just guys that for some reason stand out in my mind. I even put in the dreaded Mike Scott and his splitter for the Astros.

Is that some kind of debug mode? What else can you change on that screen? And is that only for the console, or the PC version too? [Reply]

Sarge.

Your more than likely not going to find a sharkport anywhere, you could just get an x-port, or a maxdrive as they accomplished the same a sharkport does. [Reply]
