Joey ...

Got those Mets clawing back into it!
I love it.

The new layout with the league leaders is fantastic.
I really enjoy seeing that.
I also am happy that they seem in line.

I'm very happy to see Dykstra is rolling a little and of course my boy Knight is coming through

Great job with this Joey.

Re: Endless Summer: Following The '86 Mets Through A Classic Season

Thanks for the comments, Knight!

I'm playing much better than the first of the year; partly because of more timely hitting and partly because I'm figuring out my LH pitchers. I have to pitch with them a little different to get decent results. It's still early in the season so I fully expect to be in the thick of things now!

I'm going to try to do the league leaders thing each month. I don't know about everybody else, but I love going through the lists and looking at all the guys from yesteryear - really sparks up memories.

Dykstra is really playing well, when I can keep him in the game. I don't know how the game knows he's the sparkplug but I've had either 3 or 4 ejections so far in my season and they've all been him! And Knight is an absolute beast with RISP. Oh, man, I'm loving these rosters!

Anyone else has any comments, feel free to post away. I enjoy reading them. Thanks!

The editor let it slip, but Kepshire's no hitter (mentioned in the "Around The League" portion) was against the '71 Pirates.

Wow.
I've never seen a no-hitter in any of my classic sets before.
Kepshire!?....the '85 Cards!?..a thorn in my side for 25 years now!

Knight, you were the one that created the monster that is the '85 Cards. If I was to turn this thing around and make the playoffs I wouldn't want to face them. I can't beat them!
