The memorial day set, everything seems toned down. I was using the opening day set but in my finale against Tampa Bay I scored 18 runs on 32 hits in my Part II franchise. I've played 7 games yesterday and today using the Memorial Day ones and the highest hit total I've had was 11. I went 3-4, I can live with that. I'm using these for the long run. I don't think much will be effected come Season 2, just the draft players. I'm assuming they edited all the Free Agents as well when they did the rosters.

I don't know if you know about these or not, but brunnoce made some rosters where he edited all the contactdown by some #of points to reduce those kinds of games.

Yeah, I gave them a run earlier as well. They seemed to play good as well. I think I'm settled. I'm tired of messing around with this game day in and day out. It's becoming like a bad relationship. I'm settling down and enjoying it for what it is right now.

Rays slaughter O's on opening night behind Upton's 6 RBI outing!!!!!

Baltimore, MD - B.J. Upton was in the spotlight tonight as he went deep twice and drove in 6 RBI's as the Rays open the season on a high note with a 9-5 victory over the O's at Camden Yards tonight. The Rays once led 5-0 after Upton sent a 3 run homer into the right center field seats before the "Birds" came all the way back to tie it at 5-5 in the bottom half of the 6th, but then the Orioles ran out of steam. Jason Bartlett scored off a suicide squeeze by Carlos Pena with the bases loaded in the 7th and then Upton completed his 6 RBI night as he added a two run shot in the 9th to secure the victory. Scott Kazmir went 6.0 innings and had enough offensive support to land him the victory. Jamie Walker took the loss for the O's who will look to respond after an off day tomorrow.

LOL!!! Yeah, I'm ready to move on. That game was the best one yet though. The CPU can score and I can score. The CPU and I were both hitting the ball into the gap, down the lines, occasionally struggled at the plate, it was great. It felt like the way it should be. I can't wait to get deep into this now. All the hard work and exploring around has payed off. Just want to thank you all for your support and patience with me.

Did you make any tweaks on it? I've been using the default set and in 5 games still didn't have any more than 2 homeruns.
