Hey man, boy it's sad when I have people congratulating me on winning a game. . Yeah, the Nationals are pretty pathetic, even more than my team. I just looked, they are 2-19 in my season. Ouch!!!!! I will post standings after every month.

lol. Yeah the nats are really tough to play with. They're offense is weak. For me their only threats are Lastings Milledge (batting 363 I believe), Felipe Lopez (290 but plays better than that), and Willy Mo Pena (hits homeruns and doubles a lot but really is my only scoring threat). I constantly get quality starts only to have them blown by lackluster offense. Last game I lost 5-4 on a walkoff double in the 9th against the marlins. Off of John Rauch (my best reliever besides Cordero)

Glad you liked it. Hopefully, when you turn things around I can do a more positive SI cover.

Mariners even series behind Erik's strong outing!!!!!

Seattle, WA- The Orioles offense struggled tonight against their former teammate Erik Bedard. The Orioles only tally came in the top of the 2nd off the bat of Ramon Hernandez who delivered his team high 7th homerun of the season over the wall in right to even the game at 1-1. From there, it was all Erik Bedard and the Mariners. The M's got a run in the 4th to break the tie off a Betancourt groundout that pushed Beltre across and then Melvin Mora extended the 7th inning with a throwing error that led to two more runs. The "Birds" fall to 1-5 against the Mariners on the season and they don't seem to be able to put a consistent run together, but will look to win there first series since the opener against Tampa Bay tomorrow night.

Mariners blast "Birds" out of Seattle with 12-3 series clincher!!!!!

Seattle, WA- The Orioles came into tonight's game looking for their second series win of the season, but it didn't take long for the fans of the "Birds" to realize that wasn't in store. Brian Burres once again looked absolutely atrocious as he lasted only 2.2 IP. Before the O's knew it, they were down 5-0 after a pair of homeruns by Ibanez and Suzuki, then a 2 RBI single by Jose Lopez. The Orioles struck back in the 6th after a 2 run homerun by Aubrey Huff to close the gap to 5-3, but the Mariners then turned it up in the remaining innings. As a whole, the M's homered 5 times tonight and Ichiro Suzuki delivered his 2nd of the night in the 8th inning, well after the Mariners were in charge to add to another night of embarrassment for the O's pitching staff. The Orioles still sit 8.0 games out of front running Toronto as they can't seem to gain any ground when the "Blue Birds" lose. The O's are off to the Windy City tomorrow to open a 3 game set with the White Sox.

LOL!!! Yeah, it is painful. Everytime I look at my record I shake my head. Then I go to the NL East page and the Nationals are 3-20. I'm still the top team in the area!!!!!!!!!!! I'm really hoping the AI puts Burres and Olson down and throws maybe Johnson and another in the rotation. Heck, the majority of my pitching needs a makeover. Some of these guys are really pathetic.

Welcome back gtm. Seems to be that way, win one, lose two. Just can't seem to get it rolling, yet.
