I said screw it. I will go ahead and run it. I know the ins and outs of doing it. Plus it will be ALOT easier for me than running a league. No advance dates, no keeping up with members getting games in, etc.

CAP league based on NFL and College Teams.

Small Rules we all know them
No hot corner
No bunny hopping
No corner kicking
No quick snapping

Outlawed Abilties & Combos
ONLY 3 ability golds
Cadence ability
Laser Arm (everyone is good enough with out it...Over powered)
Quick Release
Signal Stealer
Branch Tackles
Finesse
Power
Finesse & Power
Route God
Scissor Kick
Closing Speed
No duel speed abilities (Break away Burst and Speed burner)

***ANYONE caught using a player that has a outlawed ability or combo will NOT be allowed to participate in the ladder any longer***

2)Phobia
3) Hitman

Looks good man.

Been looking for an excuse to play a few games with my Vanderbilt team:

QB: Larry Smith - rocket arm

DT: Greg Billinger - rip
DT: TJ Greenstone - rip
DE: Broderick Stewart - club
SS: Sean Richardson - run reader

Warren Norman might end up being a gold by the time we get to the end of the season.

Dude has 3 kick return TDs in his last 4 games and is 10th in the nation in all-purpose yards.

He and fellow freshman RB Zac Stacy are basically the only offense Vandy's got this year, because the passing game is putrid.

Our QB Smith has a rocket arm but everything else about him is horrible -- he consistently makes bad reads, holds the ball too long, is inaccurate with his passes, etc.

He's basically JaMarcus Russell Jr., only with a bit more speed and athleticism.

Is there a validation for this or is it based as long as you make your players without the banned attributes you are ok?

What about player tiers? Do they have to be with the correct players at tiers like having a rookie at WR as your Gold because he is 6'6"? [Reply]

Hit don't try and make everything so deep. It is very easy.

Make your players just not using the abilities listed. Then the size thing is fine if it is a real player that size. It is a ladder based around having fun with different combination of players, abilities, and teams.

People know if they are doing something wrong. If they are trying to "cheat" the system. They won't be allow to play in the ladder. Period. [Reply]

For college players, one way to figure out tiers is to check your players' current draft projections:

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/p...kings/TSX/2010

The other go-by would obviously be your team's season stats, which can usually be found by googling your school's CSTV.com page.

For instance, here are Vandy's prospective draft rankings by position:

broderick stewart - 35th best DE
billinger - 39th best DT
vierling - 41st best C
benoist - 54th best OLB
greenstone - 69th best DT

These line up very well with my tiering, with the exception of the QB Smith, who has NFL talent but has put up poor stats this season, and the OLB Benoist, who lacks NFL size/speed but has put up huge numbers the last two years at Vandy.

I also think that the leadership ability should only go to guys who are or have been captains at one point in their career.

Benoist and Vierling are both captains on Vandy, for instance. [Reply]

Not trying to but I would like to use some of my favorite players on the Hawks and have them as high as a Gold like Justin Forsett who is only backing up simply because Mora is too dumb to see the guy is an instant spark plug like Darren Sproles is for the Chargers. [Reply]
