summary: the definition of a defensive struggle. score at half, 2-3, with thirty3 leading on a lou groza field goal compared to my safety. fortunately, i was able to complete a ridiculous pass to tony drayton after being back up in my ten yard line in the third, which later allowed oj to spring loose for a score. being the game that he is, thirty3 one-upped me with a pass in between two defenders that literally fit in a hole the size of a football, not to mention the receiver was interfered with. however, he wasn't able to recover an onside kick and i was able to eat away enough time to thwart his last minute efforts.

great game, tough defense as always.

very close game with moreland's unorthodox lineup and timely interceptions, but in the end, it was too much oj in the end as the viking-like team pulled out the win.

I guess here is where I should say this. I wasn't going to make it public, but I think everyone should know what happened. So, throughout the game, Hawkeye was using some really crappy tactics. For example, he tried to manually block 2 of my field goals, moved linemen off the line a few times, tried a manual DE delay stunt after moving his DE off the line, and even ran hurry-up a few times after incompletions.

I expect that he'll be banned from tourney/ladder play, but whatever Kasey decides on is fine. I just really don't feel like dealing with that kind of lobby crap in this sim ladder.

Yeah. That stuff is uncalled for. We play the ladder to avoid things like this.

This is what I'm going to do: SMhawkeye this is your only warning regarding breaking the rules. Compared to league rules, these are extremely loose. You can do basically anything you want outside of game glitches.

Let me clarify what bothers me from kosch's post and what I personally don't care about and aren't breaking the rules I designed:

Hurry up after an incomplete pass isn't breaking the rules I stated, so I'm not bothered by that. It isn't smart, given that you can't select a better play and it is annoying, but it isn't against the rules.

FG blocks are banned. You just can't do them manually. The game automatically blocks a few every so many kicks that comes out to what I see as a realistic amount.

Now, I never mentioned anything about moving DL off the line and doing other things within the game to manipulate the AI in the wrong ways. I assumed people knew better and were playing this the right way for the right reasons. If I need to clarify: it is not okay to pull DL off the line and do things to try to manipulate the OL in the wrong way. There's a plethora of options within the game to work with. This is by no means a limited game.

Hawkeye, I know you are newer to APF so I definitely need to cut you some slack. Some of the APF vets have no tolerance for that stuff because we put up with it for years already and don't want to deal with it anymore. I think you know the difference of what's right and wrong in this case and will correct yourself. If you don't, I may have to take further action. Also know if you have any questions regarding the game, please ask me and I'll teach you whatever I know. I'm sure the same applies to the other APF vets. You are facing some of the best SIM players to ever play APF.

Remember, I don't want this to be a rule driven league, but lines do need to be drawn sometimes. In the end you both get points
