summary: i brought out my vikings build, with oj serving as all day peterson, reggie white as jaren allen, jerome brown and refrigerator perry as the williams wall and bart starr as old man favre.

after and opening drive that took half the quarter, starr threw a td strike to willie gault. rod woodson fumbled the ensuing kickoff which prompted a starr to tony drayton 30 yard playaction pass. from that point, thirty3 had to abandon any hopes of running the ball and go to an aerial attack. knowing this, i was able to use my front 4 in an attacking fashion, and benefited with a pick from lester hayes (antoine winfield) and a generic safety.

in the 4th, thirty3's hurry up offense took over and he rattled off 15 straight points, but in the end, all day was able to close the show out with 15 rushes for 151 yards and 2 tds.

Summary:
1st quarter - Teams go back and forth punting after unsuccessful drives.
2nd quarter - And 80 yard drive for the Rattlesnakes leads to a 3 yard TD pass to Jerry Rice. Then, not to be outdone, Bart Starr leads a 77 yard drive completed by a 26 yard TD pass to Yancey Thigpen. The Rattlesnakes immediately answered with a 56 yard bomb to Jerry Rice, and after a few more plays scored on a 1 yard run by generic HB Ryan Meyer. Flight's turn, so they drove down the field nearly 80 yards again, but Bart Starr threw an interception with just a few seconds left in the endzone. 14-7 Rattlesnakes at half.
3rd quarter - The Flight receive the kickoff, and take it out to the 20. Again, Bart Starr led his team 80 yards down the field, ending in a TD pass to Jay Novacek. Immediately after the extra point, John Taylor for the Rattlesnakes returned the kickoff 92 yards and scored. Flight get the ball back, and drive to the Rattlesnakes' 7, and then the quarter ends. 21-14 Snakes going into the 4th.
4th quarter - The Flight, continuing their drive from the 3rd quarter, couldn't get into the end zone, and had to settle for a 20 yard field goal. The Rattle Snakes drove down to the Flight's 37 on their next drive, and Jeff Jaeger hit a 53 yard field goal with 2 minutes left in the game. On the kickoff following the field goal, Barry Jenkins of the Flight took the ball out to the 29 yard line. Bart Starr was ready to roll. The drive started out slow, as Bart got sacked for a 12 yard loss on the first play. The Flight ended up with a 4th and 7 from their own 32, but clutch Starr hit Yancy Thigpen on a deep out to convert. Then, on the next set of downs, Bart and the Flight got themselves into a 4th and 9 on their own 47. They converted again, hitting Earl Campbell on a screen for 17 yards. But the Flight had to start competing against the clock as well as their opponents, as there was only 16 seconds left on the clock. Bart Starr hit Rob Moore on a post route for 17 yards, leaving 11 seconds on the clock. On the next play, Starr missed Jay Novacek on a streak. Jay, disappointed with himself, demanded the ball in the huddle. Bart complied with his request, and hit Novacek on a corner route for 19 yards and a touchdown. The Flight were now faced with a tough decision. They could go for the win, or take their chances in overtime. Knowing that they couldn't stop the Rattlesnake offense, they dialed up the best play they could think of. Coming out in a shotgun formation, with 4 wide receivers, and going against a goal line defense, a passing play seemed obvious. Every person in the stadium was in shock when they saw Starr toss the ball to Campbell, who outran a Rattlesnake linebacker on his way to the endzone.

After a hiatus Coach MORElandBROS is back once again to APF. The Gladiators came out with a bang scoring 21 unanswered points in the first quarter. However, after that Thirty shut down my new offensive scheme.

Summary: Two HUGE plays for NFLHITMAN to end the 1st half and start the 2nd half helped pull out the win. With 4 seconds left in 1st half Thirty3 Degrees had a 4th down that he tried to QB sneak to get in to field goal range but he forgot it was 4th down and that left Automatic Otto with 1 second left in the half. Otto throws a 75 yard pass in to the end zone to Ben Coats but Coats was pummeled by defenders before he got the ball. Ball gets placed at the 1 yard line off the penalty and NFLHITMAN take the FG to go up at half 13-10.

2nd half starts and Drew Pearson returns the kickoff 95 yards for a TD and extends the lead to 20-10.

After that the defense and Barry Sanders took over and it was lights out!

Summary: MORElandBROS has a GREAT running game and I won because I found a way to beat it.With Walter Payton pairing up with Okoye I thought I wouldn't be able to contain him with only Butkus at LB. Overall both Payton and Okoye had less than 80 yards rushing and his biggest play came with a bomb to Bobby Mitchell that went through Ronnie Lott's arm for a TD. Natrone Means was able to ground it out in the 4th Q and got the team in position to kick the go ahead FG. FG is good with about 1:19 remaining in the game and with Jeff Jaeger being able to kick off so deep it nullified Bobby Mitchells return skills all game and this was no different. Mitchell was downed at the 23 yard line and with a nice pass to Pete Metz to my 40 he went hurry up and I switched my defense to Man 2 Man and I don't think he noticed. He threw a pass to Okoye and I was able to pick it off to seal the win!
