Summary: I blow a 24-3 3rd quarter lead playing a shell and running the ball. His passing attack gets off after a very poor first half. On my final drive I miss a 46 yarder 6 inches right. He goes down to score with 11 seconds left and goes for 2. Lott misses in the open field, game over. Good game, its a tough one to take.

Summary:

Hawkeyes couldnt get the ball moving vs. the bucks all of first half. Went into the locker room down 17 to 3.

After the half time pep talk they would be ready to fire right? Wrong. Threw a pick right of the gates of the second half to lead to the biggest margin of 3 to 24.

Iowa took advantage of conservative play calling to help gain them back some momentum. Scoring on drives under 90 seconds of ball time. Their defense was hit or miss but were able to come up with stops for field goal attempts.

Barrows had a shot to make it a two score game with just over a minute of play, however he was not able to make up for his previous fg miss and left the door open.

Bernie Kosar hit Ben Coats in the endzone on a TE fly. With all the momentum they had with them they elected to go for two. Bucks CB jumped the flat rout too soon and Fenderson walked in to take the game winning points.

Couple of added notes:

I definitely brought the wrong team to the battle and was outmatched against Campbell. Rice actually had 2 drops on 3rd down which killed me. Not having a charge QB for the first time in months was brutal was well.

Overall Hitman out played me, and had a better gameplan for the match up. GG Hitman. Looking foward to Round 2!
