I slowed Peterson down when I played him. He just broke a couple of tackles and we had one terrible angle by a 97 rated ILB. We held him to 117 yards on 19 carries. It's not easy, but it's not overly difficult either. Don't try to over think it. If I had to play him again, there are a couple of other schemes I would have called to keep Peterson in check - pending tackling. But I pretty much ran a base defense against him for the most part.

If anybody wants a kicker in the off-season, Jason Hanson will likely be up for sale, as he's currently the highest-rated player on my team at a 95 overall and only one of two players on the Lions' roster who have ratings above an 88.

I helped you out! I held AP to 40 yards I believe. I just made sure to not give up the outside and made sure to USER tackle!

The crazy thing is that the AP currently being used in this league is at least two or three steps below the AP from the latest roster update.
EA basically made him the "Earl Campbell" of Madden with the latest update.

In ranked matches I fear AP in the flats and tosses more than anything lol. I've been beaten by 12 year olds ( or at least people with 12 year old minds ) using AP in the flats. Guy is just devastating.

Speaking of flats, are there any plays in this game that give you more than one guy covering each of the flats?
I think that is the one play I still can't figure out how to stop defensively, and I wonder if it's because of the plays I'm not calling or just the game needing to be patched.

Try playing against the CPU Chris Johnson....He replicates very well.Only good thing is the Titans defense sux....:-)So you can score at will.

LOL man, I wish you nothing but the best over there in the NFC and hope to meet again. I'm not helping anybody. They have to come up with their own stuff.
