Re: SQL Classics Official Thread

Yeah well if anyone knows if twosilk hasn't played any games we need to replace him. I seen on his arena he hasn't posted on the boards since May.

I'm doing something for breakfast on father day, but Schemer if you freed up by tomorrow evening I think itd be okay to get our second game in.

Someone should post the standings after tomorrow night.

I'm 1-2 right now

I apologize for my lack of games played, but for you to recommend that I be replaced when I have played one less game than you is silly. I have not played alot of games, and I will be honest due to a couple of horrible league experiences, including one in this league, and yes schemer did run up the score I mean he was up 38-14 or something like that with about 3 minutes left, and he was still throwing fade routes, so yes I quit, figured why play the game if my opponent has zero respect for me or my time. I took my azz whupping from greazy like a man, because he got his lead and did the proper things, ( maybe he could have taken emmitt out) but other than that, i had no problem, so I have taken some days off from apf to recharge the batteries, was taken this wayyyyyyyy to personal. and started to effect my life away from my xbox. If quitting a game while being blatantly disrespected causes me to lose my spot in this league, then so be it.

Yeah Schemer doing that is inexcusable. Doing that kind of stuff is what hurts leagues the most. Skids may had the idea to not have many rules but I want better respect than that in a lobby game.

Schemer that stuff has to stop, you should know better.

Hey, man, no hard feelings. I wasn't trying to run up the score in our game either, in fact I was just running & staying in bounds and (rare occassion) passing on 3rd downs to keep the drives going so I could eat up the clock. My generic HB & FB had plenty of touches in the 2nd half.

Our game was just one of those were absolutely nothing went right for one player, and when that open route you had to your Silver bounced off his hands & into Deion's, I knew you were probably beyond fed up because I know I would have been.

Still, it takes a lot of balls to take over someone's team because it puts you at such a disadvantage from the get-go in that you don't know the playbook, audibles, subs, etc so I know your pain. Hope there are no hard feelings, man.

Re: SQL Classics Official Thread

to your credit, silk, you gave me every bit of a battle last night, and if not for that blocked pat, we'd have had an epic last few minutes.

Re: SQL Classics Official Thread

Thats fine that a blocked fg happened. Lets just remember to only let the cpu block kicks so there isn't any question of whether someone is using that exploit.

Re: SQL Classics Official Thread

i definitely agree. i never block manually, i took control of the guy at the far end of the line, line shifted into the field goal block shift where the linebackers or safeties come, and then i don't touch anything. i think his snap was a little off, since it took them a long time to set the ball properly, and then it was blocked.
