I'm in a similar situation and it keeps me from playing the game more. I have to stay up way late at night to play or wake up really early. Which leaves me sleepy when I get home. So now I just don't play as much cause this game is super addictive, with all the team combos which is why I complained about it before. It is WAY to engrossing and too frustrating at times making you play more.

Ha. Yeah, I think I'm going to have to lay the Panama Canal--no ordinary pipe work will do.

To bring it back to All Pro, I'm praying for Stamina Bonus and Durability .

And you're right, Kantshootrite, I could spend 10 hours a week learning braille or sign language, and it'd be a non issue. Video games, though, are like porn--absolutely essential but essentially misunderstood by women.

LMAO. Well right now she definitely has the secure ball bonus on you. I suggest you stay tough in the middle, use soft hands, and demonstrate finesse and power. However, you definitely want to avoid a quick release. Follow my advice and you can be a sack master.

Okay, I can't top that one. That was masterful, buddy . If I can pull that off, I'll be a legend in my own right.

Troj, I have mixed feelings about your giving up your systems.

On one hand, its sad since your one of the few straight players out there. I know how much enjoyment this game gives you. Video gaming in general, is a great release from stressful times.

On the other hand, relationships are often strained by the games we love. I have used sports video games as an outlet since I stopped playing competitive sports (a long time ago, it seems). However, it has caused a lot of problems for me and my wife as I often get too involved and neglect her.

I have never had a game like APF that can keep my interest so long. It may truly qualify as an addiction. I should be half the man you are and get rid of my system too.

damn that sucks dude. How are you going to get your digital football stimulation now?

Re: Players who ball for you

Thanks for the thoughts and kind words, guys. I was very good this week and may have bought myself some leeway. I got permission to get the 360 back out since it didn't sell this week, and I had a nice couple of games.

The last one I rocked a retooled team against number 230-something. Here's the squad I rolled with:

G Jim Otto
G Russ Grimm

S Joe Dellamueliere
S Icky Woods
S Otis Anderson

B Harvey Martin
B Dexter Manley
B Bryce Paup
B Chris Spielman
B Nolan Cromwell
B Charlie Watters

I wound up winning 21-7. Otis had 200 yards rushing, and man did it feel good. He knew I was gonna run the ball, but with those hog mollies it's pretty tough to stop. And Jay McDaniel was money: 4-5 with a TD. I might retool this squad a bit, but those guards are beasts--good in-line and wicked on the move.

I use John Jefferson too and he always seems to be open deep if I rollout in the pocket and get close to the line of scrimmage. Elway and JJ are money on long passes.
