That sucks, if they dont add a bigger fight then there is no way I would buy this and I cant justify the UFC even trying to sell it as a PPV. Reading that article seemed to mention the same thing, the new main event being Vera vs. Werdum? Thanks but no thanks. Isnt this the second time in a row that Evans had had his fight either canceled or changed? I thought he was going to have a rematch with Tito and then that fell apart and now Chuck gets hurt and this fight falls apart, tough luck I guess.

The freaking rumor is James Irivn may take Chuck's spot. That would be horrible.

That might not be a bad fight but god help them if they try and make that the main event.

This news really sucks. I don't know how they can possibly find a main event with this kind of time. I suppose it couldn't be much worse than this last PPV though.

chuck needs to fight rampage one more time, and think about retiring...what else does he have left to do? By the time he does get to fight jackson, he'll be approaching 40yrs

Aside from Kalib Starnes embarrasing babyish protest, this last card has been one of the better ones as far as being exciting to watch and what not.

I don't know, I guess it just seemed that all of the fights were pretty much dominations. GSP dominated Serra. Aside from the first 2 minutes of the Ace/Lutter fight Ace dominated it. Kalib ran away. Bisping dominated as well. The only close fight on the main card was Danzig/Bocek. The prelim they aired after Serra/GSP was good too. It was like watching a bunch of 9-1 baseball games for me.

As for UFC 85 I think they should take either the Silva/Jardine fight or Ortiz/Machida fight from UFC 84 and make it the main event for 85. Even losing one of those matches 84 will be awesome.

Re: Liddell injured, out for UFC 85

i see what you mean in that sense, but at the same time its not like we had LnP decisions all night either with someone content of keeping top control and not doing much with it. we have had a few of those kinda fights recently. the fact that every fight was fought to a finish, and noone except for the running man fought for a decision. Sometimes you see people fighting to not lose, too cautios, and while they may get a win by keeping top control, they arent exactly the most exciting fights. It's not like a football game thats low scoring but still exciting because of all the great defensive plays.

Re: Liddell injured, out for UFC 85

I'd have loved to be there. Seeing 3 mouthy **** talkers like Lutter, McCarthy, and Serra get destroyed would have been great. To me one-sided fights can be just as entertaining as a three round war as long as the right side wins. Mac/Bocek was pretty decent and all the prelims were good.
