Re: MLB 2k10 Wish List

Im probably gunna repeat a lot of things becuz i havent read the whole thing.

going to start off with weather

- add rain outs/makeups
-add double headers (due to rain outs)
-add rain during games and the umpire can call the game

-umpires can warn teams if HBP are causing problems
-add the feature of a type of tolerence level where the batter has the option to charge the mound if he feels the HBP was on purpose or if he is thrown at...add different effects in fights
-manager/player ejections on calls/fights
-QUESTIONABLE HOMERUN CALLS* can be reviewed
*like at Fenway that little ledge ontop of the monster

-more lines from announcers (i hate hearing the same stuff over and ove..obviously every sports game gets repetitive though)
-advertisements
-not as much PEPSI signs around the field
-active scoreboards like Fenway..with real IN GAME scores
-better celebrations

-better facial features
-more reactions from players that strikeout
-1st and 3rd base coaches actually get off the field (little thing)

-more foul balls
-better batter/pitcher duels
-less diving catches
-i dont like the whole pitching thing where you have to move the stick a different way. if im trying to throw a fastball high and in and i move the stick a little to the left coming up, i dont want to hang a curveball to be shelled

- i think there is.. but umpire personalities like The Show

and add all these

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdfOGmMZKro

also real player reactions..ex. if the batter hits a homerun but its robbed i think i speak for everyone when i say he should have a facial expression and/or body reaction to go along with it

so with that said there should be different facial expressions for diffferent situations in the game.

idk if this sounds corny (LOL) but players voices..ex. mound visits and if the umpire makes a bad strike call the pitcher will wave his arms and say something to the ump.i think that would be cool

Thats all i can think of for now..Im just thinking off the top of my head so it may be a little awkward.and obviously all these (if any) will not be put into 2k10

These are some of the things i want
1) Music DJ thing where u can clip parts of songs and put on things like Homrun and Strikeout like on 2K6
2) Game Mode where u can create ur own player and play a career with him.
3) enhanced graphics because the ones on 2K9 weren't that great.
4) on create a player, where u can pick a batting stance besides the regular stance that all the pitchers have

Hope these are on the game cause im definitly getting it!

Kendry Morales was 13th in RBI's

Since this is part of the Presentation aspect I think this majorly fails especially when this should have been apparent with the Beta Testing, or pre-release testing. The Commentating with Thorne is well done and hasnt got old yet.... but he does call Travis Buck (3 year Pro) of the A's some name that isnt even close EVERYTIME he comes to bat, yet says his name correctly when he catches a fly ball

So in essence....what he said below:
I agree with this guy! my Braves team quick stats that came up when i was up to bat was way off... majorly. 4 some reason the number 216 came up all the time as a year in which they lead or came close to leading something. fix this please

Re: MLB 2k10 Wish List

1. When batting using the view from behind the pitcher the CPU catcher gives away the location. Please change it so the catcher sits in the middle so the pitch location is not revealed.

2. Less CPU hacking, take some strikes. Better after the patch but not good enough.

3. More responsiveness to total control pitching for break of the pitch, i.e. let the user motion with the right analog have more of an effect on the break including fastballs than just the rating. This should be adjustable in the slider settings.

Re: MLB 2k10 Wish List

I know it's petty, but starting all my night games in the dark is one of the reasons I stopped playing this game. If you can't get the lighting to be accurate, the least you could do is allow me to select game time myself. (The 4pm start games would actually be accurate for 7pm starts during the summer months; as it stands, they're both fail.)

Upgrading the graphics is a must. This game is literally the single worst game I own in terms of visuals, and the lack of an accurate dynamic lighting system just compounds the problem.

Bring back the ability to edit batter stances & pitcher deliveries (obviously).

They really have to do something with the announcing, specifically how I have to hear the same crap every game like it's the first game of the season. Play-by-play is top notch, but I just can't handle hearing about "last year" game after game after game, for 162 games, let alone if I happen to play into the third or fourth year - I'm still hearing elaborate lines about 2008. Drop all that crap and add lines about the season I'm actually playing.

Re: MLB 2k10 Wish List

Batting Stance and Pitcher windup/delivery edits for ALL players, from MLB, minor leaguers, and created players.

Bring back 2k8's baserunning controlls. They were so good. Keep 2k9's base stealing controlls though, I thought that was great...And bring back "Base Burner"(runners point of view).

Playoff atmosphere. From louder fans to logos on the foul ground, playoff bunting/banners, etc...

Celebrations for winning the division, division series, league championship series, and World Series. Make them good too, none of that 2k9 "celebration" crap.

Bring back 2k5's custom soundtracks. It was cool how you could pick which part of the song you wanted to start up. Add an option to add a lot of reverb to the music, so that it sounds like it's coming from the stadium.

Player interaction. High fives at the plate and dugout after a home run, etc...

Realistic contracts. Every year their so off, and free agents will either ask for too much or too little. Bring back the contract edit option too.

Bring back take out slides. 2k8 had them, why not 2k9?

Re: MLB 2k10 Wish List

I really hate the fact I can't edit pitcher's windups, or batter's batting stances.. Hopefully, they'll bring that feature back.. But knowing the disappointing 2K is known to give, I doubt that.

Really, think about it. I can give Miguel Cairo 99 power, but I can't edit his batting style? How stupid can they get?!

Since the game series is already a joke, I really hope they put Brett Favre on the cover next year.

Edit: Something that would be nice though.. I would have to say putting that opposing team lineup card in the directional pad button would be much better then having to pause the game and go to the game stats and try to figure out who's going to be batting.

It'll save alot less time, and it'll also make it easier to determine if you want to bring in a specialist..
