mlb 2K7 > mlb 2K9?

I my copy of 2k7 and I must say compared to the 2k9 demo, 2k7 looks better, plays better, and has wayyyy better presentation than this new "real time" BS. Am I crazy or what? If anyone still has there 2k7, pull it out and compare and let me know what you think cause I doubt I'm gonna pick up 2k9 because I feel it is a downgrade!

Re: mlb 2K7 > mlb 2K9?

I'm a fan of 2K7. With the right sliders, the gameplay is great. Plus the graphics still look fantastic after 2 years.

I like some things about 2K9, but I'm starting to really doubt that it's going to be better than 2K7.

I just wish I could take the good things from 2K9 and put them into 2K7

Well I wouldnt go that far, but most are outraged that you can't change peoples stances, play exhibition without adjusting the CPU lineup, only one outfield camera angle, etc. The list goes on and on. I havent played it so I will hold off judging it, but I will not get this game until they fix these issues. 2k7 wasn't that great of a game. Sure it had great graphics, but it seemed as if every pitcher had the same delivery. Eh, we'll see how VC responds to these issues.

Wow, 2k7? I can see the argument there. What makes you say 2k8? Im not bashing, but curious. I never played 2k8, but heard it was terrible.

2K8 was a huge downgrade from 2K7 but, still had some positives in it. What 2K should do is take the rosters and commentary from 2K9 and put it into 2K7. Then they should take the option to play as A, AA or AAA teams from 2K8 and put that into 2K7 as well. 3 year plan solved

Add in the fielding controls from 2K8 and the new hitting and pitching control options and views from 2K9 and that would be an amazing game.

Re: mlb 2K7 > mlb 2K9?

Wow, it looks like 2k9 took many things from 2k8. I haven't played any of them (except 2k7 which I liked), but it seems as if people have taken 2k8 for granted (such as the ability to play A, AA, and AAA). I wonder if people will settle for 2k8 with updated rosters.
