I just downloaded your rosters and they are very impressive. These rosters are better than the 2k guy in my opinion

i just put a new version up late tonight...i think it's v.3 - 7/18/09.

more updates, added alex's Orlando Hernandez CAP (FA)...updated Red Sox roster...added Herges to Rockies AAA team...edited down a few of the FA's to a more realistic attribute...reviewed each team's depth charts based upon tonight's games (although i left the Angels roster with their better players, only because injuries decimates them).

yo i just went and bought the game and got the rosters on my other box which has live. But newayz just wanted to leave some feedback if there was anyway you could sync these rosters with the created players and everything that you have done with the 2k living roster that would b nice but other than that looks great strausburg fastball should b a lot faster though

Yeah, you might bump Strasburg's fastball up to like 96-97. That way he should start the game up there and be down to the 93-94 range in the end.

You might take a look at the most recent living roster updates as well, as most teams have a few players with ratings changes in it. For example, A-Rod down to 95 from 97, Mauer up to 95 from 89, ect.

The depth charts look spot on though, nice job on those.

yeah, ratings are pretty much subjective. with the limitations on editing it makes it hard. but i felt that strasburg shouldn't have the same kind of ratings as some of the upper-tiered pitchers, so i lowered alex g's CAP ratings slightly.

as far as syncing rosters, they're each separate files. i'm probably not going to touch any more ratings - just keep the transactions up and add necessary CAP's. appreciate the feedback...i've enjoyed tinkering with this project.

is it possible that someone else might be able to edit the players. Like Edwin Jackson should be upgraded and A Rod should get like a slight downgrade

Hey MK,

I just downloaded your newest set of rosters last night, and I must say that they are pretty spot on.

My Dodgers roster is pretty much flawless, with the exception of Cory Wade being sent to the DL again, and Scott Elbert being called up as a result.

I don't know if you heard, but Jason Schmidt is going to be starting for us on Monday, being that Milton went down for the season. He's supposed to be taking that 5th spot in the rotation, so I'm sure there are going to be a few more moves to be made in the coming days.

Anyway, I just wanted to give you props on your rosters. They make the game that much more fun to play.

new version up (v.5 - 7.20.09)...

edwin jackson upgraded (he's now rated an 82)...ARod a bit down (not too much - down to a 93, which ranks him with teixeira).

created Tatum (c - reds) and Martin (sp - nats)...updated a TON of weekend transactions (man, it just never stops with baseball!).

one thought: i have left hunter and guerrero on the angels mlb roster for this version...however, on version 6 (you guys know me - probably in another couple days) i will correct this and put them at AAA with the correct MLB depth chart.

few trades made to get things correct as well as a couple FA additions (can't recall whom off the top of my head).

once again, if you see a ratings change you'd like to suggest, or catch a minor league transaction that needs made PLEASE put it here. also, i still have CAP slots that I can but I'm going to save those for those called up to the major league roster - no more prospects. i'm also out of my allotted 150 name edits.

i really wish this game allowed for complete editing...i honestly believe i'd be close to 100% correct by now, which would make this game so much more fun.
