TOM POTI OFF OF WAIVERS

GM Viktor Konstantinov announced tonight that the Phoenix Coyotes have claimed defenseman Tom Poti off of waivers from the Washington Capitals. Poti is expected to be in the lineup tomorrow night, when the Coyotes kick off the 2008-2009 season at home against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Poti is a puck-moving defenseman, who'll help the Coyotes offense from the blueline.
