Re: NBA 2K9 SLIDERS (AUTHENTICITY) as real as it gets

Couple questions

I play in an intense 2K9 league and we play on Speed 73 with 7 minute quarters. I was having the same default (unrealistic) experience others have talked about. I've tweaked most of the sliders to compensate for all the unrealistic aspects of the game like passing in the key (Dwight Howard should not be able to complete a pass with his back turned, through three players, to ANYONE EVER) blocks (the other day Earl Watson 6'1" blocked a jumpshot by Rashard Lewis 6'7"), among other things. The sliders I created work for the most part...most of us shoot about 45-48 percent from the field. Here are my questions: Is there any way to make the offensive players cut to the basket? Or must I control the off ball player? Is there any known difference between the Layup slider and close shot slider? I know the difference but the computer seems to think otherwise. We constantly make layups because i have the slider at 90 (i'll get to why in a minute) but little guards (Tinsley, Watson, Knight) make them even if Shaq is there to defend. And I have the shot defense slider at 71. The reason the layup slider is 90 is because we were getting tired of the phantom momentum! Just because Kobe, Bynum, Gasol, Odom are off...doesn't mean that Farmar, Vujacic, Morrisson should miss shots or layups! How can we turn that momentum meter down?
