No. The slider adjustments in the game are universal. I don't think the CPU sliders have anything to do with the "away" sliders. I'm checking one of my leagues I'm in currently, and by default, all the CPU sliders are set to 50 except the attribute ones which are set to 100. We do have the human sliders adjusted, though.
