The sliders on the website do affect your games. I think online all of the attribute sliders are read as doubled. So basically if you want Speed at default which is 50, you need to set it to 100 online. I don't remember if it's the same for the offense/defense sliders. As I said, change them on xbox live in your league settings and save them there.
