American League Park,Wash.DC-The A's played flawless offensive baseball using everything they had to upend the feisty Senators 3-1 despite getting only four hits off of Washington starter Beany Jacobson.The A's scored in the 5th thanks to a Harry Davis RBI single,the 6th on a Lave Cross RBI single and in the 7th on a perfectly executed Bris Lord squeeze bunt.From There it was all Gettysburg Eddie who went 8 and two thirds innings allowing 7 hits and 1 unearned run,Weldon Henley struck out the final batter to earn the save.
