Dude, again, are you ten or something? Have you made any effort whatsoever toward improving your game, or have you stuck stubbornly to trying to play this game as if it were last-gen gameplay with better graphics? Not trying to toot my own horn, but I'm coming off a game on Heisman in which I had seven sacks and the CPU was 10 of 24. I mean, seriously, you're still getting lit up by the CPU? That's like playing MGS4 and not knowing how to get past the first act.
How many different guys need to come here and post about how they're not seeing this "issue" before all you chumps, sucking your own football IQ scroats, realize it's you and not the game? Granted, pass defense is difficult, it's a challenge, to be sure, but it sure as hell isn't "broken" or even close to that, and that's the point.
Are you even aware that you control the entire defense? Did you see this post of mine, speaking of your "987" vids?

I was going to respond to this in whatever thread you initially posted it, but I can't find it so I'll post here instead.
Your "theory" is stupid. All that your video shows is terrible pursuit logic by the playside DE. That's it. It doesn't "prove" that you're in control of the entire defense. It "proves" that DEs are incompetent and often take horrible angles.
Second, aside from controlling the DT, how do you "control" the defense? If you control an LB or S, how does it work? It doesn't.
Third, anytime that the human player has to manually control in order to get his players to carry out basic assignments, such as not running away from the ballcarrier (assuming the human can even do so), it is,
by DEFINITION an AI problem.
And I'm really tired of people playing the CPU and saying that pass defense isn't broken. The computer is stupid and never throws deep. It's pretty easy to adjust your defense accordingly to be entirely focused on short passes in order to shut it down. I don't even get how it's fun to play the computer given how terrible it is at the game. It makes retarded calls on defense, never adapts on offense, and is ONLY competitive because it flat out cheats to win on high difficulty settings.
Play online, against an intelligent opponent (doesn't have to be a cheeser, just anybody that can read a defense), and tell me that pass defense isn't broken. Seriously, I want to see you do it.
