 | Tuesday, March 28th, 1905: Elberfeld Sidelined for 2-3 Months
The New York Highlanders will have to make do without Kid Elberfeld for 2-3 months. He suffered a fractured ankle while colliding with a player at a base in the game today against the Philadelphia Athletics. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the shortstop. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." Elberfeld will miss 2-3 months.
