Thursday, March 23rd, 1905: Cardinals Farrell Gone for Year
The news is bad in St. Louis. The Cardinals have lost the services of second baseman John Farrell for the rest of the season due to a torn ankle ligaments. Farrell was injured in a recent game with the New York Giants while running the bases and is expected to miss 7 months.

Sunday, March 26th, 1905: Jack Doscher Sidelined for Season
The doctors have spoken and Jack Doscher of the Brooklyn Superbas didn't like what he heard. The 24-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Doscher sustained his season-ending injury during the Chicago Cubs game yesterday at Washington Park III. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Brooklyn medical staff reported Doscher had a fractured elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 7-8 months.
