As for the sliders I did get a few PM's advising me of the CPU sliders being broken. I posted earlier that it may very well be the case since I've read a lot about the situation.
I'm not going against the theory but I fired up Fred's sliders aswell and I thought they played pretty good but I needed the CPU's defense to be a little tougher vs me personally.
I know EA isn't very competent and they've been dissapointing us big time on Next Gen with their sports games....but having said that even if the sliders are broken I've still been able to play some nice games using both Fred's and my base set. I'm going to continue to look at a few things but I'm also going to go by my "OWN" feel for the game because if the sliders are broke there's nothing I can do about it right now accept tweak the game unitl I find the settings that work for me until they release a patch if that's the case.
EA reps don't visit over here atleast not to my knowledge but if they did I'd tell them up front it's B.S. that we should have to spend our money on their games and then become essentially BETA testers and that's when they decide to do the original job they were suppose to do beforre they release the game....... 
Now, with this game and most likely Madden aswell EA is essentially telling us the game isn't really finished until we report back to them and make them aware of what's broken in their product.
I didn't mean to rant but I think the reason why I enjoyed MLB 08 so much is because I spent exactly one day finding me some settings and never touched a single slider again after that day and the game played like real baseball. |
