Re: Full game w/ EA Designers (Colts vs. Vikings)
PROS:
-I like the different run animations for the offensive players. AP and Reggie Wayne where noticebly speedy guys and Dallas Clark had a plodding running animation. Looked very realistic.
-Errant passes by Jackson was very nice to see.
-The 1st TD pass by Jackson was beautiful. The one knee animation that was used by the WR in the back of the endzone was great.
-Playbooks look VERY team specific. That will definately help the teams 'feel' authenic.
-Kickoff lenghts were the correct distances, and didn't always go out of the endzone like in 08.
-Reggie Wayne's TD celebration was great. I love when the road team runs and throws the ball at some home team's logo or advertisement hanging on the back of the endzone wall IRL.
CONS
-Atmosphere needs overhauled. Each team IRL only gets 8 home games per year. The fans at the game should be going crazy. I have seen more hyped fans during preseason games, versus what I see in Madden lately.
-OL/DL. I appreciate you guys playing sim but, there were SEVERAL times you guys could have easily run for 10-12 yards after rolling out with the QB.
The lack of a QB pocket is still going to be an issue when playing cheesers who roll out of the pocket online. It's obviously still too easy to get outside of the DE's in Madden.
