No, $5 ain't a big deal. But you're missing the point: it's a combo of things.

1. The forced lacrosse game. I don't know of any other school forcing you to go to the lacrosse game first (cuz if you want good seats you have to go to it). Did you know that the band will perform Script Ohio at half of the lacrosse game but NOT the spring game? This is comparable to a hostage situation for Christ's sake. My sore eyes wanna see Script Ohio.

2. $5. Just a factor...cuz most in the Big Ten are free.

3. No frills. Why is it that Florida gets a foot race for a free scholarship and other perks while we get nothing? PSU is having an autograph session as well as a carnival for kids. It would be nice for OSU to at least PRETEND they care. Throw us a bone...:-)

4. NO TV. Did you know the game isn't being televised this year? It won't be on BTN, ONN, STO or FSN. Why? Oh yeah, the lacrosse record. :-)

I don't mind paying the $5 but the combo of these other things this year is too much. The lacrosse record is one thing but deep down they are going for the Spring Game record set by Bama last year.

I wonder if they'll open up the South Stands for this thing cuz if not...squeezing 90,000 in the original Shoe should be interesting. [Reply]
